According to Business Insider MoviePass parent company, Helios and Matheson Analytics, lost over $266 million in 2018.
Helios and Matheson reported the loss to the Securities and Exchange Commission on Wednesday.
Helios and Matheson has continued to burn through money since buying MoviePass in the summer of 2017.
In the summer of 2017, the company dropped the monthly subscription price to see movies to $10 a month.
According to leaked internal data, MoviePass dropped from over 3 million subscribers to about 225,000.
