Scientists recently used use an X-ray laser to create the loudest sound possible underwater.
According to MNN.com, the 270 decibel sound was louder than a rocket launch.
The experiment was conducted by a team of scientists at Stanford University.
They began the experiment wanting to observe shock waves.
Then as their research grew they understood the sound impact made by X-Ray Lasers.
