ExtraTV.com reports “Homecoming” reunited Julia Roberts and Dermot Mulroney on screen again!
The pair first co-starred in “My Best Friend’s Wedding.”
As it turns out, “Homecoming” director Sam Esmail was the one behind the casting choice.
Esmail was a big fan of the 1997 comedy, and wasn't sure what Julia would think of the casting choice in the new film.
Not only did she love the idea, but she was really good friends with Dermot, which sort of blew my mind. It was like, ‘Wait a minute.
