Oscar-winning actress Julianne Moore said her own personal experience of caring for someone infected with the AIDS virus was the motivation for promoting the documentary ‘5B.’ The film focuses on the unsung heroes who looked after AIDS victims in the 1980s, specifically those in Ward 5B at the San Francisco General Hospital. Reuters reports the film screened during the first week of the Cannes Film Festival.
