Merkel Call On Europe To Stand Up Against Far-Right Parties Unlisted Video

Reuters reports German Chancellor Angela Merkel called for Europe to push back against far-right parties. She said populist movements intend to destroy core European values such as fighting corruption and protecting minorities. Merkel made the comments when she was asked about a scandal engulfing Austria’s far-right Freedom Party. Its leader Heinz-Christian Strache quit on Saturday as government vice-chancellor after video emerged of him offering state contracts in exchange for political support.
