History Museum presents celebration of the Pan-American Exposition
The building that houses the Buffalo History is the largest reminder of the Pan-American Exposition. Executive Director Melissa Brown says "this was the only building intended to remain until the exposition was over." This weekend, Friday through Sunday the museum is planning a celebration of the 118th Anniversary of the Pan-American Exposition. It will take place at the museum and a couple block away at the museum's resource center where there is a permanent display of Pan-American artifacts. There will a free shuttle taking visitor between the two sights. The weekend will include kiuds activities, tours and a piano concert at the museum on Saturday on the 1901 Grand Piano that bears the offical New York State Seal. You can get much more information at the museum's website.
