Bike Wheelie Crash On A Highway

Yet another motorcycle wheelie crash on the interstate somewhere! Too many times motorcyclists perform dangerous stunts on the interstates mainly because it allows them to hit higher than normal speeds. This is never ok and stunts should always be performed on a closed race track or a nonpublic roadway.
When bikers crash doing wheelies and other stunts on public roads, that puts other people and cars on the roads at risk for a dangerous accident.

Anyways, in this video we see a bike cycle rider riding with other cyclists down the interstate. The guy riding the cycle is doing all kinds of stand-up wheelies and tricks. Everything seems to be going well for him until he gives the cycle acceleration which causes the bike to go vertical, in which the back end drags the ground!!

The rider was showing off to his friends as they raced along on a busy highway. He sped past his fellow rider leaning right back on his rear wheel when he lost his balance. The confident stuntman leaned too far back and fell off his saddle, sending his bike flying across the highway into the cars on the side of the road.

After the cyclist stop, the rider appears to be ok but traffic is now held up as these cyclists have to make sure the rider gets back on his cycle. This definitely was a fail! According to the filmer, the rider was okay after the accident, but the bike was badly damaged.

Motorcyclists are between 30 and 40 more likely to die in an accident on the road than standard car drivers.
They only comprise 1 percent of the overall road traffic, yet account for around 20 percent of the fatalities and serious injuries on the road.

There were 700 bicyclists killed in traffic crashes in the United States in 2018. Cyclists have long complained that drivers show them little respect, while drivers and police often say that cyclists at times are their own worst enemies because they do not respect the road rules and regulations as they are supposed to.
Especially in Florida, the most dangerous state for pedestrians in the country, and among the most dangerous for cyclists.

In 2018 nearly 100 cyclists were killed in traffic accidents across Florida. That is as many as were killed in Britain in the same year a country with three times as many people as Florida and a lot more cyclists. Florida’s death rate for cyclists is three times higher than the national rate.

According to the Dangerous By Design survey, an annual report produced by the National Complete Streets Coalition, a lobby group, the state’s four biggest cities Miami, Jacksonville, St Petersburg, and Orlando are the four most dangerous places to be a pedestrian in America.
