SPCA offers "Vets & Pets" thanks to a generous friend

Nancy Gacioch is an animal lover, supporter of the SPCA and a friend to military veterans. Thanks to Nancy's generosity the SPCA serving Erie County is offering "Vets & Pets". Beginning Saturday May 18th and running through May 27th veterans can adopt pets at the SPCA and the adoption fee will be waived. Nancy says that veterans are close to her heart and adds "I love veterans and I think we have not done well by them. The program covers cats and dog as well as other critters available for adoption at the shelter. Gina Lattuca SPCA Communications Director says "there are people who respond to different kinds of animals." The offer holds for all of the SPCA's offsite locations.
