Liberals rail against new Alabama abortion law

The near universal ban was signed into law by Gov. Kay Ivey on Wednesday. The law, which was passed through the state's Senate on Tuesday, outlaws nearly all abortions and makes performing one a Class A felony. The only acceptable circumstance for performing one is if the mother's health is at risk.
