Comicbook.com reports 'Avengers: Endgame' sends Steve Rogers back in time...
...and Captain America chooses to live with Peggy Carter instead of returning to the present.
'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' features an older Peggy referencing her husband and two children while speaking with Steve.
Fans have theorized her off-screen husband was Rogers.
Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, writers of both films, have confirmed this to be true!
'Avengers: Endgame' is now in theaters.
