According to Reuters, the top markets on Wall Street plunged as trade tensions between Washington and Beijing intensify.
A week after President Donald Trump threatened to impose additional tariffs on Chinese goods, China's finance ministry levied $60 billion of additional tariffs on US goods.
By the afternoon on May 13th, the top three markets on the New York Stock Exchange dropped over 2.5-percent each.
The Nasdaq Composite led losses, falling 3.3-percent for 261-points of losses.
