A Meaningful Walk for Mental Health Awareness

For 20 years, Doris Kloth's son Eric battled with bipolar disorder and later schizoaffective disorder. In 2010, Eric died by suicide, but before his death, he was was very involved with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and wanted to help others who struggled the way he did. Now Doris carries on that legacy. The past few years, Doris has been the biggest individual fundraiser for NAMI Walks, and she joins us to discuss the walk and the important work that NAMI does. NAMI Walks takes place this Saturday, May 18 at 11am at Veteran's Park. For more information, to register, or to donate, call (414) 344-0447 or visit NAMIWalks.org/GreaterMilwaukee.
