Comicbook.com reports Pokemon has had over 20 years of fandom...
...and now, Detective Pikachu has explored the ancient history and origin of Pokemon.
According to the live-action film, Pokemon have been around for centuries, perhaps even milennia.
Hieroglyphic images are shown from Egypt which included Pikachu and other monsters.
