Marvel Summer Special Is Canceled Before Release Date

Comicbook.com reports the previously-announced Marvel Summer Special #1 is not being released.
The one-off series was intended as an homage to Marvel's Swimsuit issues of the 90s, but was mysteriously pulled.
Whether Marvel will use the content elsewhere is unclear.
Instead, Marvel announced Marvel Comics #1000, an 80-page issue featuring 80 different teams.
The gargantuan book is set for release in August.
