Our very wet spring with record rains and flooding impacts our homes, waterways and our community’s (and our) ability to manage water. With more wet weather likely coming our way, Melinda Myers is here to share information on low maintenance gardening strategies that will beautify your landscape and manage water where it falls. Fresh Coast Guardians is an initiative by The Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) designed to help us prevent polluted storm runoff from reaching our waterways and preserve Lake Michigan by managing water better when it rains or snows. For more information, visit FreshCoastGuardians.com/resources/green-strategies.
