Traffic is getting increasingly worse in San Francisco, California.
Science Mag reports a new study says a major influence from 2010 to 2016 was the introduction of Uber and Lyft.
Both companies are headquartered in San Francisco.
A comparison of traffic from 2010 with 2016 shows that time cars sat in traffic increased by 69%.
When rideshare cars were removed, the model estimated just a 22% increase in traffic delays from 2010–16.
