A new study has revealed roughly 19 million people across the country are being exposed to toxic compounds in drinking water.
HuffPost reports as of March, highly toxic fluorinated compounds called PFAS were found in 610 locations in 43 states.
The study was released Monday by the Environmental Working Group and Northeastern University’s Social Science Environmental Health Research Institute.
