Executive who paid $400,000 in college admissions scandal pleads guilty Unlisted Video

A Los Angeles-based executive pleaded guilty in federal court on Tuesday as part of the college admissions scandal. Stephen Semprevivo admitted to paying $400,000 to a fake charity owned by William "Rick" Singer in order to get his son into Georgetown University. Semprevivo pled guilty to conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud. According to Business Insider, prosecutors have recommended an 18-month prison sentence. His sentencing date is scheduled for September 11.
