Over the past three months Kim Kardashian West has worked with 17 first-time nonviolent drug offenders. In her fight for prison reform, she helped commute the life sentences of these 17 people. According to CNN, Kim is working with Brittany K. Barnett, co-founder of the Buried Alive Project. Barnett said Kim has funded the project and been a supported of their 90 Days of Freedom campaign. The campaign is part of the First Step Act, signed into law last year by President Donald Trump.
