Every day in the United States, about 22 veterans take their own lives. Chief Warrant Officer 4 Clifford Bauman was in the military as an army officers, and then witnessed the events of September 11. A year later, deeply troubled by the things he saw, he attempted suicide. Officer Bauman survived that attempt and joins us today to explain why asking for help is both courageous and strong. Chief Warrant Officer Bauman is speaking at LiFE OF HOPE's Community Suicide Education Forum tomorrow, May 8 from 5pm to 8pm at The Columbian (3245 Lighthouse Lane in West Bend). There is no cost to attend, but pre-registration is encouraged. To register, visit LiFEOFHOPEproject.org.
