'Game Of Thrones' Called Out For Diversity Problem

On Sunday night's episode of 'Game of Thrones,' Missandei of Naath, played by actress Nathalie Emmanuel, was captured during an ambush. Business Insider reports that fans on social media took the opportunity to criticize the mega-popular series for its poor track record in giving actors of color prominent roles. One Twitter user wrote, "I knew they’d kill her. Only Black woman on the show." Missandei was beheaded later in the episode at Cersei Lannister's command.
