According to Reuters, the top markets on Wall Street lost about 1-percent to open the new week.
By the afternoon on May 6th, the Dow Jones was trading down by a quarter of a percent, while the Nasdaq and the S&P lost about half a percent each.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost about 66-points, falling to 26,438.
The Nasdaq Composite dropped 40-points, while the S&P 500 shed 13-points.
On the day, Boeing and Apple declined out 1.5-percent each due to weaker demand in China.
