Every year the Colorado Teacher of the Year Program honors an exceptionally dedicated, knowledgeable, and skilled K-12 classroom teacher. That teacher is honored not only here in Colorado, but automatically becomes Colorado’s nominee for the National Teacher of the Year competition, even attending a ceremony honoring teachers from across the nation in Washington, DC.
