CBS News made it official Monday morning, revealing that Norah O’Donnell would become anchor and managing editor of the “CBS Evening News.” She will take over from Jeff Glor, who has helmed the program since December 2017 and whose future at the network remains uncertain. “It is incredibly humbling to accept this position,” O’Donnell said on set at “CBS This Morning” Monday where she currently serves as a co-anchor. “I don’t stand on the shoulders of my colleagues, they carry me on their backs.
