George RR Martin Says There Will Be 3 ‘Game Of Thrones’ Spin-Offs

SFGate reports author George R.R. Martin says three spinoff series will be coming to HBO in the future. Martin's “A Song of Ice and Fire” fantasy book series are the source material for the hit HBO show. In a blog post on Saturday, Martin said of the five “Thrones” spin-offs in development, “three of them are still moving forward nicely.”
HBO previously confirmed the pilot for a Naomi Watts-led “Thrones” prequel, set to begin production this summer.
