West Chester police search apartment in connection to Sunday homicides, leave without arrest

Five days after four family members were shot to death inside their Wyndtree Drive apartment, officers executed their first search warrant in connection to the case. Officers arrived Friday afternoon at an apartment on Autumn Woods Lane. They did not immediately disclose whether the apartment belonged to a potential suspect or what they believed they would find inside. They left without making an arrest, according to West Chester Township spokeswoman Barbara Wilson. discovered the bodies of Hakiakat Singh Pannag and his three female family members — 62-year-old Parmjit Kaur, 58-year-old Amarjit Kaur and 39-year-old Shalinderjit Kaur. They had been shot to death within minutes of each other, according to the office of Butler County Coroner Lisa Mannix, and each had been shot more than once.
