Monks unveil a new bread store at Abbey of the Genesee

According to Father Isaac Slater, Prior at the Abbey Of The Genesee in Piffard, New York, the place is quiet "everywhere except the bakery". This is the birthplace of Monk's Bread, an impressive operation that began sixty-five years ago. The Monks just unveiled their new store that will feature all of their popular products including more than a dozen kinds of bread, biscotti, breakfast bars and more. The shop provides plenty of space for the thousands of visitors who make their way here every year and will also feature products from other abbeys including soaps, jams, and many hand made items.
