Avengers: Endgame Passes Captain Marvel As Highest Grossing Movie Of 2019

“Avengers: Endgame” has not been out for a week yet, coming out on April 26, 2019. But it has already beat “Captain Marvel” as the highest-grossing film of 2019. According to Comicbook.com, “Endgame” made $1.48 billion over the weekend. Additionally, in the market the superhero film made $427 million, passing “Captain Marvel’s” $415 million. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige said: "We wanted to bring to a conclusion a series of movies in a way that had never been done before.”
