According to SFGate.com, "Regina King has inked a first-look deal with Netflix, the streaming service announced Wednesday. The director, producer, and Oscar-winning actress will produce films and series for the streaming service under her production company Royal Ties." King's latest success was winning an Oscar for best supporting actress for her performance as Sharon Rivers in Barry Jenkins', "If Beale Street Could Talk." Fans and critics are expecting great from her through Netflix.
