Jaden Smith Will Play Young Kanye West In West's New Showtime Series

Kanye West is developing an anthology series for Showtime called **Omniverse**.
TheWrap reports Jaden Smith has been cast as a young version of Kanye in an alternate reality.
The first season of **Omniverse** will explore the Ego through an alternate reality of the rapper.
The half-hour series is from Scooter Braun’s SB Projects, Westbrook Studios and writer Lee Sung Jin. Smith is an executive producer.
**Omniverse** is West's first entrance into television.
