According to a report by Reuters, on Saturday, French police fired tear gas to push back protesters marching toward the European Parliament building in Strasbourg, in the 24th consecutive weekend of protests against President Emmanuel Macron's government. The “yellow vest” protesters returned to streets across France two days after the president outlined policy proposals including tax cuts worth around 5 billion euros in response to the long-running, highly publicized protests.
