Is Hamilton County failing black moms and their babies?

A total of 92 babies died before their first birthday in Hamilton County last year. That’s five fewer deaths than in 2017 and the smallest number of infant deaths in the county’s history, according to Cradle Cincinnati. It's still much too high — and it disproportionately affects black families.
