Tesla team rushes to China to investigate Model S explosion Unlisted Video

Digital Trends reports Tesla rushed a team of investigators to Shanghai to try to discover why a Model S exploded while parked in a parking garage. On April 21, a video of the electric sedan bursting into flames was went viral on Chinese social media network Weibo, as well as Twitter and Facebook. Tesla said no one was hurt in the incident. Footage from a security camera shows an early Model S slowly begin to emit smoke from the bottom of the car, where its lithium-ion battery pack is located.
