Famed Film Editor, Terry Rawlings, Dies

According to SF Gate, Terry Rawlings, a British film and sound editor who was an Oscar nominee for his work on Best Picture winner “Chariots of Fire,” has died.
Rawlings worked as a film editor on such films as “Alien,” “Blade Runner,” “Legend,” “Yentl” and “Alien3.” He also worked as a sound editor between 1962 and 1977.
The London-born Rawlings had a 50-year career in film, beginning in 1955 and stretching until 2005.
