According to a report by Gizmodo, a new study suggests that sodas and sports drinks are fully replacing water for some kids, finding that one in five children are not drinking any water at all. Researchers at Pennsylvania State University looked at nationally representative survey data from more than 8,000 children across a variety of age ranges, finding that those who drink no water consume, on average, 93 more calories a day than those who drank some water.
