Comicbook.com reports 'Star Trek: Discovery' season 2 is over, and it's unclear what season 3 will bring for the Discovery crew!
But showrunner Alex Kurtzman has confirmed that the ship is “jumping 950 years into the future for season 3.”
This will put the show in the 33rd century, around 50 years before the 'Star Trek: Shorts Treks' episode “Calypso.”
This is also far after the events of 'Star Trek: Nemesis', which took place in the late 24th century.
