Conflicting reports suggested he was officially removed as executive producer of Williams' show.
He also called the police to the New Jersey mansion they share, reportedly because he felt harassed by reporters outside.
On Wednesday, Hunter publicly apologized to his wife, his family, and Wendy's fans, saying he was "not proud" of his recent actions.
