'The Orville' Reunites Two 'Next Generation' Alumni

Comicbook.com reports 'The Orville' reunited two actors from 'Star Trek: The Next Generation' on an episode this month called “Sanctuary.” The episode aired April 11th
and centered around the discovery of a colony of escaped female Moclans. Topa’s teacher was played by former 'Star Trek: The Next Generation' star Marina Sirtis, who played Counselor Deanna Troi in 'The Next Generation.' Jonathan Frakes, who marries Troi as Riker in 'Star Trek: Nemesis,' directed the 'Orville' episode.
