Police seek driver in Downtown hit-and-run crash that hurt another driver, MSD subcontractor

A driver and a person working on a Downtown street were hurt in a hit-and-run crash early Thursday morning, Lt. Bill Suter said. A driver in a Nissan Altima was driving north on Main Street, ran a red light and hit a driver in a Nissan Xterra going north on Main Street, according to an officer on scene. The Nissan Xterra then ran into a worker, a subcontractor for the Metropolitan Sewer District, who was working outside their van, the officer said. The driver of the Nissan Altima got out of the car and left the scene.
