We’re not sure what the backstory is for this fortunate feline, but here’s what his adoring human servant—a resident of Australind, Western Australia (and very obviously an accomplished kitty masseuse)—has to say on the subject: “As a web designer, most of the times I work late nights at home and you know how stressful work is sometimes. Our cat Ivy accompanies me and sits on my lap every time I do work. This happened when I was having a break and she was really keen and insisting on me giving her a ‘meowssage.’” Our take away from this is twofold: First, we’re pretty sure that this “meowssage” (a fun new word that we intend to add to our vocabulary immediately) was as relaxing for the giver as it clearly was for the receiver. Second, we can’t help but wonder how much this devoted cat dad would charge to put his skills to work on behalf of a stressed out human. Because this looks like a REALLY great massage!

And we certainly wouldn’t say no to basking in this much relaxation ourselves at the end of a hard day. But since we can’t actually jump through our computer screens and enter into this video to get in on the action ourselves, we’ll settle for the next best thing, which is the second-hand pleasure of watching it unfold. If nothing else, it certainly does our hearts good to see a cat being this well loved and attended to, and we know that the warmth we’re feeling now is the same warmth and joy you’ll feel yourself once you hit the Play button.
