A cute baby giraffe was seen taking her very wobbly first steps outside, under the watchful eye of her mum.

The three-week-old calf, named Vicki Lou, was still wobbly on her feet when she was unveiled to the public her zoo home.

The adorable calf was born on the first day of spring to mum Dadisi and dad Hesabu last month and delighted staff at the Californian zoo.

Allen Monroe, CEO of The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens, said: "We are thrilled to share the news of this new addition."
