Comicbook.com reports 'Star Trek: Discovery' season 2 concludes this Thursday, but it wasn't planned that way!
Writer and co-executive producer Michelle Paradise explained the finale was supposed to be a single episode...
...but the creative team realized a single episode wouldn’t do justice to the story.
We had 13 episodes for the season and in trying to wrap up all the storylines and all the mythology...we realized it is not one episode of television.
