Comicbook.com reports the 'Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker' trailer featured narration from Luke Skywalker, and Emperor Palpatine's evil laugh.

Some fans theorized it was Luke laughing, or a character we haven't seen yet.

Naturally, some memes have popped up, including one of Jeff Goldblum's chuckle from Jurassic Park in the teaser.

But jokes aside, fans can't help but wonder if Palpatine could somehow return to the new movie.

'Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker' hits theaters December 20th.
