On Saturday renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma traveled to one of the most dangerous sections of the southern U.S. border to play a rendition in promotion of cultural unity.

According to NPR, he played the opening notes of Johann Sebastian Bach's "Suite No. 1 for Unaccompanied Cello" at a park in Laredo Texas situated across from the Juarez-Lincoln International Bridge, which connects the U.S. town to the Mexican city of Nuevo Laredo.
