Old Man winter must has forgotten something in Wisconsin because he has returned from his spring break. Not to worry, he is only here for a short layover before he departs out of the area again. You name it....we saw it today. Thunderstorms, snow, sleet, freezing rain, rain & gusty winds. Later tonight a front will pass through with a line of showers and thunderstorms assisting it. Some heavy downpours as well as small hail may accompany some of the stronger storms however no severe weather is expected. The storm system begins to break down Friday with a few light rain and/or snow showers on and off through the day. Temperatures rise into the lower 40s with winds out of the southwest around 15 to 25 mph with gusts near 35 mph. Saturday will be mostly cloudy with temperatures in the lower 40s with a stray shot of rain showers, especially in the Northwoods. Sunday starts out dry but later in the evening, there is the potential for another round of snowfall, something that we will be keeping a close eye on as we head into it.
