YouTube Implements Measurements For "Quality" Videos Unlisted Video

Business Insider reports YouTube has implemented two new growth measures over the past two years in order to up the engagement for higher-quality videos. According to a new report in Bloomberg, YouTube officials have not yet figured out how to gauge which videos are higher quality. The report says one metric tracks total time a user spends on the platform, while the other focuses on "quality watch time." YouTube wants to reward "responsible" interactions and videos.
