Reuters reports former U.S. President Barack Obama praised the legacy of Los Angeles rapper Nipsey Hussle on Thursday, a few weeks after the rapper was tragically shot and killed. In a letter read by Karen Civil during a public memorial, the former president praised Hussle’s work revitalizing the neighborhood where he was raised, which is known for gang violence.
