New 'Walking Dead' Series Features More Strong Women

Comicbook.com reports AMC is releasing its third Walking Dead series!
A female-fronted spinoff focuses on two young women from the first generation of survivors after the zombie outbreak.
The untitled show is co-created by Walking Dead writer-producer Matt Negrete and Scott Gimple.
AMC head Sarah Barnett hopes to continue highlighting strong female characters on the network.
The 'Walking Dead' spinoff is scheduled to reach the network in 2020.
