Press conference issues call for new review of Kellom death after testimony from DPD officer

It was an emotional scene outside the federal courthouse downtown with an attorney for the family of Terrance Kellom and local civil rights leaders all asking the WCPO or the state attorney general to reopen the case into Kellom’s death. The young father was shot and killed by ICE agent Mitchell Quinn in April 2015, and had initially been reported by police to have been wielding a hammer. Yet, new testimony by DPD Officer Darrel Fitzgerald stated that during the raid there was no hammer and no attack to warrant a shooting.
