Mother of 11-month-old who drowned in Detroit basement gets jail

It is a heartbreaking and horrific case of child neglect. A Detroit mom learned her sentence on Monday for leaving her child without adult supervision in a dangerous house. The house was in such poor condition her baby fell through a hole in the floor into the flooded basement, where she drowned in sewage.
